An outdoor event focusing on ambient music, environmental music, and sound art, “CAMP Off-Tone,” has been held once again.

After being suspended during the pandemic, the festival for ambient music, environmental music, and sound art returned for the first time in four years, relocating to the popular family-oriented campground Beruga Ojiro-no-Mori Campground.

The three-day overarching theme was “Ritual — three days of listening, thinking, and sleeping.” Each day also featured its own thematic focus, aiming to create an accessible, almost ritual-like experience in which participants re-frame their everyday lives through music.
