The book proposes a diet method in which readers “just listen” to the original CD to regulate appetite, enhance metabolic function, and shift toward a body that naturally resists weight gain. Author Mikazuki Tamaki, a long-time practitioner of bodily and mental alignment through Wakidō, supervised the audio in collaboration with environmental sound designer Takashi Kokubo. The CD contains specially engineered sounds designed to stabilize the autonomic nervous system and promote metabolic activation.
Tracks are structured around daily time frames and functions, such as “morning confidence boost,” “pre-meal satiety activation,” and “harmonizing during meals.” For example, the suite “Morning” from Peer Gynt enhances wakefulness, “Pink Breath” stimulates the satiety center before eating, while “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” supports relaxation. Seven distinct audio programs allow listeners to choose sounds according to purpose and time of day.
The key feature of the method is that it requires no strict diet or exercise regime: by influencing physiological rhythm through auditory pathways, the approach is easy to sustain and suited for those who wish to notice gradual change “without effort.” For individuals experiencing stress, low metabolism, or limited results from traditional dieting approaches, the “listening diet” presents a new alternative.
Kokubo was responsible for producing the audio materials featured on the enclosed CD.
