Poems of the Earth is a culmination of natural sound recordings captured by environmental composer Takashi Kokubo across more than 30 countries. Using the 3D spatial recording system Cyberphonic, the album offers a strikingly realistic listening experience — with headphones, it feels as if you are physically present in the recorded landscapes.
After traveling through Cusco and Machu Picchu, the journey arrives at the dense jungles of the Amazon, where rich layers of sound envelop the listener. Immersed in the raw vitality of the rainforest, one can experience a deep sense of healing and renewal.
