The Poems of the Earth series is a collection of soothing natural soundscapes recorded by environmental music composer Takashi Kokubo, who traveled through more than thirty countries to capture the voices of nature. Using the Cyberphonic 3D spatial recording system, the sound is rendered so vividly that, with headphones, one can experience an uncanny sense of being physically present within the scene.
France evokes delicate and pristine water sounds, forests filled with gentle birdsong, and landscapes of timeless beauty. Wrapped in the tender ambience of the French countryside, listeners can enjoy a small vacation of the mind. Imagine spending a graceful moment accompanied by the soundscape that Monet or Marie Antoinette themselves might once have heard.
