The Poems of the Earth series is a culmination of nature recordings captured by environmental music composer Takashi Kokubo, who traveled through more than thirty countries to collect calming natural soundscapes. Using the 3D spatial Cyberphonic recording system, the sounds are so realistic that, when played through headphones, the listener may feel as though they are physically present in the recorded environment.
In Hawaii, each island carries its own unique character and ecological richness. This album invites you to experience the many faces of Hawaii through sound.
