Ambient music composer Takashi Kokubo will take part in the ambient party “Oasis Ambience,” held in the Iizuna Highlands of Nagano, Japan. Set in the serene surroundings of “Iizuna OASIS,” regarded as one of the birthplaces of Japanese healing music, the event will offer a unique sonic experience themed as “music as massage.”
During the Talk Session starting at 6:00 PM, Kokubo will join Dr. Tsuguaki Takahashi, director of Takahashi Clinic, for a discussion on “The Relationship Between Natural Sounds and Vibroacoustic Therapy.” Together, they will explore the profound connections between sound, the body, and consciousness through both medical and acoustic perspectives, touching on forest bathing, natural soundscapes, frequencies, and vibration therapy.
From 8:00 PM, a special live session will be presented by the new collaborative unit “Planetarian (TAKASHI KOKUBO × The Factors)” in the form of an experimental public rehearsal. This exclusive “Blue Moon Session” promises an immersive performance that could only emerge under the full moon in Iizuna Highlands.
A one-night-only experience where nature, sound, body, and consciousness quietly dissolve into one another.
