Takashi Kokubo is a Japan’s leading environmental musician and sound designer. Since the 1980s, he has continued to explore sound as a means of reconnecting nature and human sensibility, earning international acclaim that transcends the boundaries of music.
In February 2026, he will publish his new book, Designing with Sound (Kodansha).
