Message from the Oasis — Tale of Forest and Water is an environmental music work by Takashi Kokubo themed on the “dialogue of life” woven between forest and water. The rustling of trees, the murmuring of streams, the patter of rain, and soft synthesizer textures intersect to trace the cycles of nature as a narrative told through sound.

Water nourishes the forest, and the forest nurtures water — sound quietly speaks of this mutual resonance of life. The layers of sound are transparent and deep, drifting like mist at times and flowing like a clear current at others.
