Sounds in nature gently interact with the human psyche. Among them, the sound of “water” carries ancient memories from our origins in the sea and has a deeply restorative effect on both body and mind. This album is a form of treatment music, composed from transparent and fluid water sonorities for the purpose of healing and rebalancing. Under the sound direction of sound environment designer Takashi Kokubo, elements such as the high-frequency noise present in ocean surf and rustling leaves, as well as the natural fluctuation known as the “1/f” rhythm, are woven throughout the music to express water’s inherent vitality, healing power, and purifying force.

Listening evokes the sensation of drifting within water itself. Immersed in that sensation, fatigue and stress gradually dissolve, while a renewed sense of vitality rises within. It is akin to receiving a blissful salon treatment surrounded by the embrace of nature. In such an atmosphere, one may begin to seek true beauty and well-being.
